Banyan Flow

The sacred Banyan symbolizes growth, longevity, strength, and self awareness. The unique way in which this tree grows roots from its branches, sending them back into the earth reminds us of the importance of branching out, taking root, and finding nourishment. Our Banyan Flow is the ultimate experience to do just this! Immerse yourself in an evening of self-care to flow back to your roots with yoga, soothe your senses with aromatherapy, balance your being with breathing practices, meditation and energy/reiki (optional) while surrounding yourself with like-minded yogis, community, and candlelight. We’ll delve a little deeper into the ancient roots of yoga exploring specialized themes and dharma talks. A full 75 minutes for you to move, breath, explore, and restore your entire being.

Serene Yoga

Our Serene Yoga classes offer a sweet and soothing approach to yoga. These classes move at a gentle pace, explore postures and movements that are designed to increase mobility, while infusing breath work and mindfulness to promote deep relaxation. Ashtanga Led Primary Series

Ashtanga is a set sequence of postures that is dynamically moving while also offering an in-depth exploration of alignment and breath. Because the sequence and postures are always the same, this practice offers the practitioner a unique opportunity to allow the practice to be a moving meditation. Ashtanga is known for being a physically challenging practice while also offering mental clarity and inner peace. Our Ashtanga teachers are skillful in leading students through each posture of the Primary Series while offering modifications, challenges, and gentle encouragement making this practice a great place to learn while being highly accessible.

Kundalini Yoga

Get ready to raise your vibration, enliven your senses, and experience this one of a kind style of yoga. In Kundalini yoga, you’ll cultivate deeper awareness of yourself through a precise combination of more subtle aspects of yoga and yogic practices (asana, bandhas, pranayama, mantra, mudra, and meditation). Come with a curious mind and expect the unexpected as you activate and direct energy throughout your body with movement and breath. Kundalini is powerful and transformative, offering a full spectrum practice that will leave you feeling relaxed, uplifted, and more connected to your true nature.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga takes relaxation to the next level. Experience this gentle, nourishing and deeply relaxing practice designed to dissolve stress, ease tension and soothe your nervous system. Postures are passively held longer in durations and designed to open your hips, legs, shoulders and spine. We integrate the use of yoga props to fully support the body so that you can feel completely at ease and comfortable in each pose. We’ll guide you through breathing and mindfulness practices to promote relaxation and we’ll incorporate other various therapeutic elements, including essential oils, touch assistance (with permission), and soothing music with dim lighting. You’ll leave feeling destressed and recalibrated body, mind and soul!

Deep Stretch

Exactly as it sounds, Deep Stretch is your go to class to stretch, release tension and reset from head to toe! Each class consists of passively held postures, longer holds, paired with deep breathing techniques all designed to target the release of connective and deeper muscle tissues. This class is perfect for anyone looking to increase mobility and flexibility, prevent-injury, improve performance, maximize recovery, while promoting calm and relaxation to the nervous system.

Get ready to strengthen your core and tone your entire body! Pilates is a mat-based form of exercise and body conditioning developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, mostly as a method of recovery for dancers. Classes encourage concentration on each movement while maintaining engagement in the abdominal and low back muscles. The focus is on muscular strength, mobility, breath control, and alignment. This is an active class, accessible for all levels. You’ll leave stronger but not too sweaty!

Compassionate Addiction Recovery Experience helps facilitate recovery for those struggling with the disease of addiction, either directly or indirectly. You’ll discover a gentle and compassionate path to addiction recovery through the holistic benefits of gentle movement, breathing, stillness, aromatherapy, and healing energy modalities. Promote a deeper sense of awareness and return the body and mind to its natural state of balance.

Please read before your first class.

Parking: Parking is available on the streets surrounding the studio. Please do not park in the lot next to the studio as it is for the building residents. No one has ever been towed and we don't want you to be the first!

Time: We have a 5-minute late policy. Arrive early to give yourself time to sign in and change. Don’t stress, but if you are running late, the class may already be full or the door locked. If you are able to enter late, please enter the room quietly without disrupting others. If you need to leave early, tell the teacher before class and follow their guidelines. Please inform the teacher of any emergency situations and come up with a solution together.

Space: Practice awareness when placing your mat down and make space for yourself and others. It helps to stagger the mats so the front of the mats are not lined up. You may need to adjust your mat as more people enter the room to keep a good spacing vibe.

Shoes: Leave them in the cubbies in the common areas or put them inside your bag to bring into the practice room. No shoes in the practice room unless bagged!

Stuff: Please store your valuables on the shelves in the yoga room and not by your mat or in the cubbies. No tech use allowed in practice rooms before, during or after class (a.k.a. ever). Please put your phone on silent (not vibrate) and in your bag.

Thank you for helping us preserve the sacred space of the practice rooms and overall yoga studio vibe.

10 Tips to Make Your First Yoga Class a Success

Most yoga classes involve some degree of movement. Wear comfortable clothing that won’t restrict your ability to move freely. Shorts, sweatpants, t-shirt, and tank top are all appropriate.

When you arrive at the yoga studio, be prepared to leave your shoes – and socks in the lobby. Yoga is typically practiced without socks because our feet tend to grip yoga mats better bare than when in socks. Socks can encourage slipping and even lead to injury.

You're allowed to drink water during a yoga class! Just be sure to keep the bottle close to your mat so no one trips over it! Breakable bottles are discouraged. Sustainable bottles are highly encouraged!

Always arrive a little early to your class. This gives you time to let go of anything that happened prior to your arrival. It also gives you time to get checked in, use the restroom, and find the perfect spot for your mat.

Yes! Bring your own mat to class. Many studios have mats you can rent or borrow. Mats at  studios are cleaned after each use (we hope!). However, it’s assumed that no one is cleaning the mat as well as you’d clean it for your own use! If you don’t have a yoga mat, you can easily purchase an inexpensive one at Target.

Maybe your doctor suggested trying yoga or maybe you’re working to become more flexible. Whatever the reason, know why you’re coming. This can help be a motivator on the days you don’t want to climb out of bed to hit up an early morning class.

The more you let go of expectations in a yoga class, the more likely you are to have fun and benefit from the practice. It’s tempting to see the yoga superstar in the front row and try to emulate their practice, but remember, it’s not a competition! Our bodies are all different and what feels or looks good for someone else may not resonate with your body. Yoga isn’t necessarily about how poses look; it’s about how the poses feel in the body.

Doing a forward fold with a belly full of food or drink does not feel good. (Trust me on this one!) You’re encouraged to bring a protein or snack bar to nosh after your class or on the ride to your next destination.

No one is going to judge you if the spinal twist you just did loosened up the bowels! You’re allowed to leave the room to head for the restroom. (In fact, it's encouraged!) Yoga teachers see this all the time and it’s far less embarrassing and noticeable than you think. Just be sure to come back to class!

Yoga works best as a consistent practice. Some results are seen immediately. Other results take time to show up in your life. At times, you may not notice the full effects of your yoga practice until you stop going to classes. While we don’t encourage you to stop, we do encourage you to be patient and know that not everything happens at once.
