Hi, I'm Chelseana Lahman!
Chelsea Lahman, PT, DPT, SCS, is a staff physical therapist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She currently works at the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute and enjoys treating athletes of all ages. She has been with Ohio State since 2013, when she started as a Sports Resident. Once she completed the 16-month residency program, she was hired on as a staff physical therapist. Once she obtained her Sports specialist certification, she then joined the faculty of the Sports Residency program. In March 2020, Chelsea was hired as one of the Rehab Team Leads for Quality Assurance while also continuing with patient care and teaching/mentoring in the Sports Residency.
As a former athlete at The Ohio State University and a member of the USA National Team for springboard diving, Chelsea is acutely aware of the demands and perspectives of high-level athletes. She is passionate about injury prevention, enhancing sports performance, and returning athletes to high-level activities following an injury as safely and efficiently as possible. She enjoys working with athletes of all ages and has special interests in diving, gymnastics, and endurance sports.
Chelsea is a member of the Hip Outcome Team, Knee Outcome Team, and the Endurance Medicine Team. She performs video gait analyses, bike fittings, and dry needling as specialty services. She is also a member of the USA Diving Medical Staff, which provides medical coverage for the USA Diving National Team at competitions worldwide.
