Here's What Our Clients Say

I really love EVERYTHING about this studio. I travel for work and have been to many yoga studios across the country. The quality and diversity of the instructors is wonderful, the space is well-designed with so many little details, the owners are friendly, and the variety of classes will meet the needs of a first-time yogi or long-term practitioner in a number of yoga styles. Highly recommended!

- Kathy, Olde Towne East Resident

Danja Yoga is a wonderful studio in a beautiful, thoughtfully designed and outfitted space. Instructors and teaching styles are varied, and in my experience, all offer unique challenges in a supportive manner. This is great place to learn, improve and advance your practice.

While I am fairly new yoga, I have spent a good amount of time in different fitness facilities, and Danja definitely earns its five stars here. Pristine, friendly, nonjudgmental, spacious and accessible, with acceptance of differing practice levels and abilities. You'll be gently pushed but not bullied. Well worth the reasonable cost to invest in your mobility, strength and mindfulness.

- Brent, Columbus Resident

Local yoga experience you NEED. Amazing OTE location. Beautiful, clean, sanitized space. Two separate studio spaces. One large and one intimate. Cute greeting area and storage for personal belongings. Plenty of props!! And mats <- also sanitized! Schedule and variety of classes is exceptional. You really don’t see the range of classes that are offered at one studio like this very often. Everything from power to an amazing restorative class, highly recommend. Highlights each teacher’s gifts and abilities per class they are teaching. Non judgmental atmosphere. Friendly. Supportive. I am a long time yogi x instructor (not at this studio) and can say I have been manyyyy places for yoga in our city, nationally and internationally. Danja really is an outstanding experience all the way around. I def will be getting a monthly unlimited pass & looking forward to taking many more classes here. Thanks for bringing this much needed studio in walking distance to our little neighborhood. LOVE IT!

Has one of the best yoga teacher line ups in Columbus, and more than that has some of the most exceptional customer service and community oriented approach to customers that I have ever experienced. Would recommend to anyone!

- Brian, Columbus Resident

Danja Yoga is the only studio in Columbus I would recommend to literally anyone. I'm an anxious person, somewhat extroverted, and I'm very spiritual, I actually read spiritual texts/books and I have a few daily practices.   I honestly feel that Danja embodies core fundamental spiritual beliefs which is kindness, compassion, acceptance, openness, and mindfulness + unites that with yoga poses and breath, it's awesome! And no judgements, no projections, no ego BS!

I cannot say the same for other studios!! I tried several other places and every place I went I felt like an outsider, or the teachers were wrapped up in their ego to the point it made the class seem more like a private club than an open and loving environment. Or some places just don't have a cohesive flow, but Daniel does an amazing job of bringing the breath into harmony with the body.

I've taken a class from almost all of the teachers at Danja by now and I love them so far! I've been going here for a few months now. The teachers are soooo kind and loving and helpful. The classes are doable for any skill level and even though this sounds cliche I really truly leave every class feeling great mentally, physically, and spiritually!

We are all one big human family and the people at Danja really do give you that kind of vibe, which I have not found elsewhere & it gives my body, mind, and soul exactly what it needs.

Yoga is an ancient sacred practice originating in India; it shares roots with Hinduism, Buddhism, and other subcontinental Asian religions. While we honor the agency of the Indian entrepreneurs who popularized yoga in the West, we acknowledge that the practice has been coopted by American corporations and currently brings profit chiefly to white American teachers. We also acknowledge the xenophobic and racist discrimination faced by Indians in America. As part of our commitment to honor the people from whose cultural practice we draw profit, physical well-being, and spiritual growth, we offer a gratitude discount on class passes and teacher trainings to Indians and Indian Americans. Our $90 Gratitude Membership auto-renews each month. Whether it's a friend, family member, or even yourself, cancer touches all of our lives at some point. Studio co-owner, Daniel Sernicola's mother Sue Sernicola passed away in July of 2021 after a lengthy and courageous battle with small cell lung cancer. Thoughout her fight, she enjoyed the practices of yoga, meditation, reiki, and aromatherapy. Shortly after her diagnosis, she received a phone call from an organization offering to pay for 100% of her treatments. This kind gesture alleviated the heavy financial burden and gave her hope. We'd like to pass this hope on and are proud to offer FREE classes to anyone who is currently being treated for Cancer. Please contact the studio for more information.

The Fine Print

We now require preregistration for classes and cannot accommodate walk-ins. Registration closes two hours before class start time. You must cancel no less than 2 hours before class start time to have your class credit reverted. Do this online by clicking Manage Schedule. Unfortunately, if you do not cancel and do not show up, we must charge your account for a drop in fee of $20 per class - even if you're a member. We have to do this so that we can pay our teachers because they showed up for you.

Many of our workshops offer an early-bird discount to encourage early enrollment. When a workshop or series has a minimum enrollment, we note it in the description. We are not able to offer refunds with less than 24 hours’ notice. If you are unable to attend but give us over 24 hours’ notice, we are happy to issue a refund to your MindBody account, from where you can apply the credit to classes, series, or another workshop.

Some of our series classes are run as “open series,” allowing single-session drop-ins after the series has begun. These are marked with an asterisk by their titles. Prices range from $15 to $25 for drop-ins. Because of the special nature of these series, we can’t apply class passes, and unused sessions simply expire.

Schedules, teachers, prices of classes, passes, memberships, and products are subject to change without notice. Always check our website for our most current offerings.

Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal information you choose to give us will only be used to help us provide you with the highest quality services, products, and support. We will never share your personal or financial information with any other party. We do not share bank or credit card information with any outside parties.

You may PAUSE your membership for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 60 days per year, up to 2 times per year. You will be charged a fee of $10 each time your account is frozen.

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before class starts. The doors will be locked at the beginning of class, and students will not be allowed to enter after the door is locked. Please do not knock on the door as that will disturb others in the class.

Danja Yoga will not be responsible for lost or stolen items under any circumstances.  Please refrain from bringing valuables into the studio. The studio provides a Lost and Found area for items students may leave behind. On the first day of each month these items, including yoga mats, will be removed and donated or disposed of.

In an effort to keep everyone safe during inclement weather, we cancel classes from time to time. Level Two Snow Warnings will result in studio closure for the duration of the warning. For updates on class cancellations or holiday class schedules, please check our online schedule and social media.

Our classes require pre-registration. It helps our staff greatly with the sign-in process and make things faster for you, as well. If a class is full or waitlisted we can not guarantee a walk-in a spot in that class.

Doors to the studios open 15 minutes before class time. We promptly lock the studio door at the start of class for the safety of students and their possessions.

For all classes, students must be at least 12 years old. Additionally, students under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Many pregnant women are able to take our classes up until their due date, but we recommend you check with your doctor before signing up.

Shoes are not worn during yoga classes. Please take your shoes off at the door and leave them in the shoe cubby area. We do not permit shoes in any of the studio practice rooms.

Please refrain from wearing heavily scented lotions and perfumes to class. Likewise, please practice "saucha" (cleanliness) by showering and keeping your clothes, shoes, and mat clean between classes. Personal hygiene is appreciated as we are often practicing (and sweating) in close proximity to each other.

Thank you for being mindful of our policies and procedures and keeping Danja Yoga the great community it is.
