Online 5-Week Series Yoga for Beginners

Ever find yourself wanting to begin Yoga, but are overwhelmed by all the newness? This 5-week beginner series is designed for the student who wants to learn yoga, but might be a little anxious or scared. The good news is that yoga doesn't have to be scary! In this series, Jake Hays teaches new students the fundamentals of yoga in a safe and engaging environment. Students learn yogic breathing, yoga postures, and relaxation techniques. The beginners series is taught in a sequential manner to help students build strength, flexibility, and confidence in yoga. Pre-registration is required for the 5-week series and the cost is $50.

This series takes place over 5 weeks: 6:30pm - 7:30pm on Tuesdays, January 25 - February 22.

Online Winter-Ease: Yoga Nidra & Meditation Experience

Get cozy. Find ease. Experience rest. This 6-session series invites you to explore Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic Sleep. This guided relaxation and meditation experience will will sooth the soul. Like wrapping the mind in a warm blanket, Yoga Nidra invites your body to deeply relax into a sleep state while the mind stays inwardly alert and conscious.This ancient practice improves well-being by transforming emotions, improving mood, creating positive thinking patterns, and reducing self-limiting beliefs. No effort is required for this practice. All you have to do is find a comfortable position, lie down, and snuggle up with your favorite blanket.
Prior to resting, we'll work with the breath doing practices designed to calm and rebalance the nervous system. From there, you'll be guided through gentle and healing meditation to open the heart and engage the mind. Everything comes together with a deeply restorative and rejuvenating Yoga Nidra experience. You'll leave each session of this series with a little less stress and feeling a lot more rested. The only prerequisite is that you are ready to get comfortable and invite peace into your being.
This series will be released beginning on January 26. You can sign up anytime! Each week, you'll receive access to a new session on our digital platform. These sessions will be available for you to experience at anytime for a 3-month period.

Getting Here

We are located in The Gemma Building at the corner of Ohio and Oak in Olde Town East. Our studio is a 3 - 5 minute drive from Downtown Columbus

Parking

There's ample parking on the streets around the studio. Please avoid parking in the lot directly next to the studio as it is for residents of the building

Bikes

There's a bike rack outside in front of the left side of our building. We also won't object to you bringing your bike inside.

 

Traveling from Out of Town

If you’re traveling from out of town, you’ll find Olde Town East is charming and walkable. A number of hotels are a short drive from the studio. There's plenty of AirBnBs as well. Dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, gastropubs, and microbreweries are in a few blocks’ radius from the studio. We’re happy to  make recommendations.
