When I embarked on my first teacher training, it was to delve more deeply into yoga and into myself. I truly didn’t know if I would ever teach yoga. I was fortunate to study with some of the most incredible teachers whose depth of knowledge was profound. What I learned and how these teachings forever changed my life, I felt compelled and inspired to share with others what my teachers once shared with me. Since then, sharing yoga and teaching teachers has been my life’s work!

Over the years I’ve been watching Danja grow. The beautiful space they’ve created, the community of students they’ve been serving and the team of teachers they’ve been building, was something I wanted to be a part of. I love that they foster an open, inclusive and safe space for students while offering a wide range of class styles to meet students wherever they’re at in their path of yoga.

If I could share one piece of advice with students it would be to surrender the need to be ‘good’ at yoga. Instead use yoga as a tool to observe, to feel, and to come to know yourself more deeply and intimately. Inherently it will guide you through growth and personal transformation.

Savasana. While I love many of the postures in a typical yoga practice, especially those juicy hip openers, for me, Savasana offers the most depth and opportunity to quiet, still, and move deeper into my being.

Family, travel, playing field hockey, riding horses and saving as many puppies and kittens as I can.
