The Danja Yoga Yin+ Restorative Teacher Training Program has been designed for yoga teachers, body workers and health care professionals who are looking to deepen and enrich their understanding of yin + restorative yoga as well as learn how to teach students in a practice of yin + restorative yoga.
Our Yin + Restorative teacher training program will expand your knowledge of yin + restorative yoga, enrich your existing practice, and deepen your relationship with calm and stillness. You will learn the foundations of yin and restorative postures, how to effectively use props, and how to sequence and create well balanced classes. You'll learn Colleen's signature art of language and cueing, how to hold space to cultivate a deeper practice for inward reflection.
Colleen will share experiential knowledge of trauma-informed yin yoga sequences developed to assist students in releasing emotions from the physical body, thereby easing the tension they can place on the mind. This gentle balance encourages healing in the nervous system with the idea that when the body is released, the mind is released as well.
Our program offers an in depth practicum where you will practice teaching, receive valuable feedback and coaching while developing the skills and confidence to effectively guide and teach yin and restorative classes.
As a registered provider of continuing education with Yoga Alliance, you'll receive 40 contact hours of CE credits with the Columbus School of Yoga.
