Elaine is a passionate and dedicated yoga teacher with a profound love for the practice that goes beyond the physical realm. For the past six years, she has wholeheartedly immersed herself in the transformative power of yoga, allowing it to shape not only her physical body but also her mental health and overall well-being. What started as a simple curiosity turned into a life-altering journey. Initially drawn to yoga for its promises of increased flexibility and strength, she soon discovered that the true magic of the practice extended far beyond the physical postures.

Elaine strives to promote positive change, empowering students to embark on their own transformative journeys. With warmth, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to the practice, she invites everyone to embrace their unique path and discover the profound gifts that yoga has to offer

Elaine completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with The Columbus School of Yoga at Danja Yoga founded Colleen O’Brien McFall.

What inspired me to become a yoga teacher was the profound impact that yoga had on my own life. As I delved deeper into the practice, I not only witnessed remarkable changes in my physical body but also experienced a profound shift in my mental health and overall well-being. I want to create a space where individuals can explore their own potential for growth, healing, and self-discovery.

I have my 200 hour RYT Certificate from The Columbus School of Yoga at Danja Yoga and Reiki Level 2 also from Danja Yoga.

The power of community is profound at Danja Studio. It is a place where friendships blossom, connections deepen, and support flourishes. The collective practice amplifies the energy in the beautiful rooms, creating a dynamic and uplifting atmosphere. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a beginner taking your first steps on the mat, you will feel supported. I am excited to be part of such an amazing and nurturing team.

Trust that your body knows best. Be patient, listen attentively, and learn to detect between the sensations of challenge and pain. Let your breath be your guide, grounding you in the present moment and guiding you towards a practice that feels balanced, nurturing, and transformative.

Ardha Chandrasana, or Half Moon Pose, holds a special place in my heart as my favorite yoga pose. Having balance challenges throughout my journey, I worked to build the strength, flexibility, and stability needed to find my balance. It is an example that I can strive for any goal no matter how unachievable it seems.

My favorite yoga book is not about physical practice, but about two other limbs of yoga. The Yamas and Niyamas by Deborah Adele is a remarkable yoga book that delves into the ethical and moral principles that form the foundation of yoga practice. Deborah Adele translates the ancient wisdom of the Yamas and Niyamas into relatable and actionable directions to be used in current life situations. It offers a valuable tool for self-reflection and self-improvement. It has helped me cultivate a greater sense of awareness, compassion, and purpose, both on and off the mat.

Most people are unaware that I had the chance to reside in Los Angeles and work as a travel agent specializing in the music and movie industries. During that time, I was fortunate enough to have met many famous people.

I am most passionate about friends, family and my pets. I currently have two dogs and two cats, and see many more on the horizon!
